1. Who we are

Intracoastal Installs LLC (“we,” “us,” or “Intracoastal Installs”) is a North Carolina dock-building and marine-contracting business. Our shop is at 312 Olde Point Loop, Hampstead, NC 28443. You can reach us at (910) 612-6107 or [email protected].

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to give you an accurate dock estimate:

  • Contact form data: name, email, phone, address of the build site, project description.
  • Phone calls and emails: records of your inquiry and the estimate we provided.
  • Analytics: anonymous, aggregated visitor data (page views, referrer, device type) for site improvement. No personally identifying tracking.

We do not sell your data, share it with marketers, or use it for advertising profiles.

3. How we use your data

  • To prepare and deliver your free estimate.
  • To schedule a site evaluation and follow up about your project.
  • To send project updates, change orders, and warranty notices if you become a client.
  • To comply with NC General Contractor recordkeeping requirements (license #100980).

4. How long we keep it

Estimate inquiries are kept for 24 months. Client project records are kept for 7 years per NC contractor recordkeeping rules. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 7).

5. Who we share it with

We share your data only with:

  • Form delivery providers (Web3Forms) for handling submissions.
  • Cloudflare for hosting and security filtering.
  • County permit offices (Pender, New Hanover, Onslow) when filing CAMA permits on your behalf — only the project address and homeowner info required by the application.

We never sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties.

6. Cookies and tracking

This site uses minimal, necessary cookies only — no advertising or behavioral tracking. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or third-party trackers on the homepage. If we add analytics in the future, we will display a consent banner first.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/UK, you have the right to:

  • Access the data we have on you.
  • Correct it if it’s wrong.
  • Delete it (we’ll remove everything except records the state requires us to keep).
  • Object to processing or ask us to restrict it.
  • Take your data with you (data portability).
  • File a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

8. California residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect about you.
  • Request deletion of your personal information.
  • Opt out of the sale of your personal information.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information: Intracoastal Installs does not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for commercial purposes. We have not sold consumer information in the past 12 months and do not intend to do so. If you would like written confirmation, email [email protected] with the subject “Do Not Sell Request.”

9. Security

The site uses HTTPS (TLS), security headers (HSTS, X-Content-Type-Options, X-Frame-Options, Referrer-Policy, Permissions-Policy, CSP), and is delivered through Cloudflare’s global edge network. We protect your data with the same care we put into the docks we build.

10. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, the “Last updated” date at the top will change. Material changes (anything that affects your rights) will be announced on the homepage for 30 days.
